Classes will be held at the park on Tuesday afternoons, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm for five weeks, September, 25 – October 23, 2018. Volunteer positions offer a wide range of options:

  • Entry Station Attendant
  • School Program Leaders
  • Visitor Center Attendant
  • Landscaping
  • Hike Leader
  • Maintenance
  • Trail Maintenance
  • Special Projects

Training provides an introduction to volunteer positions and responsibilities as well as the history and operation of the park, geology of the area, archaeology, botany, biology, and other subjects. After completion of this training, new volunteers will collaborate with others in various domains until they are ready to select an area and work on their own. We look forward to any and all prospective future volunteers!
