Want to volunteer where your contribution is significant, and your efforts are greatly appreciated? Join the friendly volunteers, site hosts and park staff at Red Rock State Park. In September and October 2018 Red Rock State Park will be holding its annual volunteer training program.
Classes will be held at the park afternoons, for five weeks, September, 25 – . Volunteer positions offer a wide range of options:
- Entry Station Attendant
- School Program Leaders
- Visitor Center Attendant
- Hike Leader
- Trail Maintenance
- Special Projects
Training provides an introduction to volunteer positions and responsibilities as well as the history and operation of the park, geology of the area, archaeology, botany, biology, and other subjects. After completion of this training, new volunteers will collaborate with others in various domains until they are ready to select an area and work on their own. We look forward to any and all prospective future volunteers!
