Internationally Recognized Sedona Bamboo Flute Player- Jesse Kalu
Red Rock State Park
Sunday, December 1, 2019 2 p.m.
Jesse’s intimate performance will take place in the Red Rock State Park theater and will last approximately one hour including a question and answer session at the conclusion of the music performance. This heartfelt presentation includes a unique mixture of bamboo flutes, poetry, story, and nature voices. Jesse’s presentations touch his audiences in unique ways. Each of his flutes has it's own name and song. Emanating through his handcrafted flutes are the wildlife calls of doves, quails, loons, hawk, owl, seagulls, dolphins, whales, coyotes, wolf, elk and more. Jesse Kalu has been sharing his music throughout the world since 1994.
Jesse performs regularly in the Sedona area. He utilizes a wide-variety of bamboo flutes sweeping from the soprano to bass ranges, all made by his own hand. Many who hear his music praise his ability to imbue his creations with the deep connecting spirit of the natural world.
Regular park admission fees are required on the day of the event: $7 per adult (ages 14+), $4 per youth (ages 7 – 13), and children 6 and under are free. However, seating is limited and reservations are required. Call the park to reserve your seats in the theater, (928) 282-6907.
