Daily Naturalist Hike

at Red Rock State Park

Every morning a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk include geology, wildlife, history, archaeology, and plant life. Our naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. This guided walk is included with park entrance fees. No reservations required.

Start times vary with the seasons as follows:

  • September - May: Hike starts at 10am
  • June - August: Hike starts at 9am

Make sure your bring comfortable hiking shoes, plenty of water, and clothing appropriate for the weather.
