American Kestrel Project
Red Rock State Park
Saturday, February 24, 2018 10:00 am.
American Kestrel populations are declining throughout their North American range. Join the International Raptor & Falconry Center (IRFC) at Red Rock State Park for the installation of a new kestrel nest box. This box, along with thousands of others across the country, will be used to investigate population declines.
Representatives from IRFC will demonstrate box installation and conduct a formal presentation. Finley, an American Kestrel, will be in attendance, and the presentation will be followed by a guided bird walk through the park.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Please call 928-282-6907 to reserve your spot.
