PHOENIX – Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is hosting an open house and “Brunch at the Bridge” on Sunday, April 22 to showcase the rustic Goodfellow Lodge and update visitors on new planned trails and development at the park.
The event will introduce the new park manager, Dan Roddy, and include a breakfast cooked on site. Attendees can enjoy scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, juice, coffee and more. Goodfellow Lodge, which is now open for overnight stays, will be available for the public to tour and experience the Old West charm of the 10 guest rooms.
“We’re really excited to invite everyone to come see one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, right here in Arizona,” said Park Manager Dan Roddy. “This park is a hidden gem, and we want to show off the amazing assets you can find just minutes away from the town of Payson.”
The cost of the event is $15, which includes brunch and an all-day park pass. For visitors not attending the brunch, the park will be open for hiking and exploring with normal fees. For more information, visit AZStateParks.com/Tonto.
