Contact Point State Park and Havasu 280 Groundbreaking

PHOENIX - Arizona State Parks, in partnership with Lake Havasu City, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Contact Point State Park and the Havasu 280 project on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. The groundbreaking ceremony for Contact Point will take place at 2400 Sweetwater Ave. in Lake Havasu City.
At 11:30 a.m., following the groundbreaking, Arizona State Parks will hold a celebration and naming of the newest boat ramp at Lake Havasu State Park, which opened on September 2, 2016.
Join state and local leaders, Arizona State Parks representatives, local developers and businesses to celebrate these two projects that will support jobs, economic growth, tourism and business development. These projects will bring thousands of new visitors to the area to enjoy all Lake Havasu City and the Colorado River offer.
Contact Point State Park is Lake Havasu's latest development, in partnership with the Komick SPE, and will feature a marina with launch ramp, docks, dry boat storage, as well as a restaurant with boat docking, a beach and ramadas. The new park will be developed in conjunction with a residential community located at the site known as Havasu 280.
