Music in the Mountains Concert Series at Catalina State Park
October 3, 2018
PHOENIX – Catalina State Parks hosts local musicians at their amphitheater, offering a night of music and fun in the outdoors!
In October, Mike Moutoux is the featured performer, sharing cowboy songs and poetry. He is better known as “New Mexico’s Enchanting Cowboy,” and his personality is what really draws his audience in.
“We’re so happy to be able to offer this concert series for our visitors to Catalina State Park,” said Sue Black, executive director at Arizona State Parks and Trails. “This is the perfect time of year to get out and enjoy all that the parks have to offer.”
Coming up in November, join Way Out West, a western band bringing you traditional and original music, stories, and poems. The group plays the banjo, mandolin, and upright bass, singing along in harmonies. The band has performed all over the world, and is ready to entertain you at Catalina State Park.
Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind outdoor experience in the parks. Music in the Mountains brings culture, music, and entertainment to a wonderful corner of the desert!
