See Sedona Glow on a Full Moon Hike at Red Rock State Park

PHOENIX – Sedona's red rocks will dazzle under the glow of a full moon! Registration is now open for one of Red Rock State Park’s most popular events: a Full Moon Hike scheduled for Apr. 15.

Participants will receive the exclusive experience of seeing Red Rock State Park after normal closing hours. Led by a naturalist, hikers will enjoy the sunset and moon rise from a scenic vista, overlooking Sedona's Cathedral Rock and other formations. In addition to the beautiful scenery, participants can enjoy learning about Sedona’s archaeology, geology, botany, and riparian wildlife information. 

The hike lasts two to 2.5 hours and covers a distance of approximately two miles. Registration is required by calling the park at 928-282-6907, and spots fill up quickly! The event costs $15 in addition to standard park admission fee of $7.
