Local Area Featured Event

Wednesday 9/13 to Friday 9/15

102nd Annual Santa Cruz County Fair

Join in on the fun for the entire family. Three exciting days and nights full of activities, complete with a carnival, 4–H and FFA competitions, pet shows, ranch rodeo, barrel racing, a gymkhana competition, a horse show, exhibits, live music, concerts and dances, a farmers' market, vendors, and much more.

Patagonia’s own Thom Sellectomy (a.k.a Geoff Cobb) does “all the things your mother said you should never try at home,” by performing unbelievable feats of sword swallowing, circus stunts, and more, all while entertaining his audience with funny stories of his strange journey.

Enjoy bluegrass, mariachis, country, rock and traditional music live on the Ramada stage, and don’t miss the legendary Rocky Harper. Local favorite Jim Koweek, award-winning fiddler Greg Morton, Kevin Pakulis, Mary Carrter, the Dragoon Mountain Boys, and more will be picking and singing all weekend. Featured entertainment at the fair includes Friday night with the Davis' Muttley Crew, and Saturday night with Drew Cooper.

This event will be held at the Sonoita Fairgrounds, approximately a 30-minute drive northeast, from Patagonia Lake State Park via AZ–82–E. For more information, visit the 102nd Annual Santa Cruz County Fair event page.
