Pioneer Days Canning Expo
Lyman Lake State Park
July 20, 2019 2:00 p.m.
The week of July 24th is "Pioneer Days" in the town of St. Johns, when the community celebrates the Mormon pioneers who settled the area in the late 1800's.
As part of the festivities, Lyman Lake State Park is hosting a "home canning expo," led by two local community members. This year, they are canning apples.
This event is free to attend with paid park entry. Head to the group area building past the park store/ranger station, and get ready to learn how to preserve!
Every Saturday this summer
