Lost Dutchman State Park
Wednesday, October 4, 2017 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
This is an introduction to hiking in the Sonoran Desert, starting on Treasure Loop Trail and converging to Jacobs Crosscut Trail. The trail includes a short, steeper and rockier section followed by a smooth well-maintained section, giving hikers experience in both terrains. The hike is 2.5 miles with a 50-foot elevation change. Plan for a 2-hour easy hike with volunteer hiking leader, Barbara. Bring water, sun protection, and close-toed shoes or boots! Fees for guided hikes and programs are included in the park entry fee of $7 per vehicle or with your annual pass.
