If you appreciate native flora, join Ranger Rob as he guides an easygoing and informative hike highlighting some of the Sonoran Desert's staple (and seasonal!) plants. Stroll among towering saguaro cacti and learn how the peculiarly green-trunked palo verde tree survives in one of the most ecologically complex places in North America. Your knowledgeable guide will try and answer any questions you may have been wanting to know all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Superstition Mountains. The hike will cover 1-1.5 miles, so please come prepared with comfortable hiking clothing, sturdy footwear, and plenty of water.

Program is free, but park entry fees still apply. Meet in the Saguaro Day Use Area. Event is weather permitting.
