Homolovi State Park no longer accepts self-pay registrations for camping. Same-day reservations can be made by coming to the visitor center in person or by calling the park office at 928-289-4106 by 4:45 p.m. Entries for non-registered campers will not be accepted after that time.
Note: Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
Hopi Pottery Talk
Homolovi State Park

Come listen to Park Ranger and Hopi Potter Gwen Setalla discuss traditional methods and techniques of making Hopi pottery. She will explain how traditional Hopi pottery is made and how to recognize authentic pottery. This talk will be outside at the park's visitor center. Park day use entry fee of $7 is required. approx 1.5 hrs

Sunset Cemetery Hike at Homolovi
Join a Park Ranger on a hike to the last remnants of the settlement of Sunset. Sunset was established by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1876. The ranger will present about the history of LDS settlement of the middle Little Colorado River Valley. The trail is .8 miles round trip on an old dirt road.

Homolovi IV Pueblo Guided Tour
Join a Ranger for a tour of one the park's archaeological sites that is normally closed to the public. Registration is required for this event. This pueblo consisted of approximately 200 stone masonry rooms built in a stepwise fashion down the sides of a small butte on the west bank of the Little Colorado River. It was occupied for a short time in the mid 1200s.
