Homolovi State Park
November 14, 2018 7:00pm
Guest speaker for this program is Sean O'Meara. The Homolovi Chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society Programs are presented on the second Wednesday of each month. The programs generally are in direct relation to the prehistoric and historic timeline of Homolovi 11,800 BC to Current. The programs consist of hands-on materials, displays of artifacts or replicated artifacts, video's, power point and lectures. In the past we have made cordage, pottery, learned an intro to flint-knapping, drum making, heirloom seeding, and much more! These programs are funded by the Homolovi Chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society. Meeting accommodations are provided by the Winslow Chamber of Commerce and the City of Winslow. All of the Homolovi Archaeological programs are FREE to the public.
