Enjoy a leisurely walk around scenic Fool Hollow Lake in the temperate climate of northern Arizona's rim country. This nature walk follows the trail around the lake, discovering points of interest along the way that most people never notice. Learn about petroglyphs, the forest habitat, the 100 foot-tall pines surrounding the area, and how the lake got its curious name.

This nature walk is under one mile in total length, and follows along a trail with benches available along the way. Participants should plan to meet at the boat ramp on the east side of the lake. From the park entrance, take Fools Hollow Road east and follow it around the lake until you reach the three-way intersection, then turn left/west. Parking is available but limited. Please remember to bring water and dress appropriately for the weather. Admission to the park is free for nature walk participants.

For more information, call the park staff at (928) 537-3680 or US Forest Service at (928) 368-2100. We look forward to seeing you!
