Verde Valley Birding & Nature Festival
Dead Horse Ranch State Park
April 26-29, 2018
At inception in 2001, The Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival started as simply a celebration of birding at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Now, nearly two decades later, this amazing event is still going strong, thanks to the effort of he Friends of the Verde River non-profit group. This active group works collaboratively with others to restore habitat, sustain river flows, and promote community stewardship to support a healthy Verde River system.
During the festival, visitors will enjoy field trips led by experienced guides in beautiful central Arizona’s diverse habitats. Guided walks and workshops, vendors and exhibitors along with special events round out this four day event. To attend, please register online here.
