Dead Horse Ranch State Park
March 31, 2018 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Learn about rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, gopher snakes, and desert tortoises in the safety and comfort of a classroom environment! Throughout this demonstration, students will learn what to do if they ever see or hear a rattlesnake in the wild, why Gila monsters are such amazing animals, why desert tortoises are protected animals, and how to tell if a snake is venomous or non-venomous. These animals aid educators to teach the general public valuable information about safety and awareness. Animals used for interactions are non-venomous and have been proven in an education environment. CLICK HERE for more information about this event.
