Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park

Daily Guided Tours   10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Arboretum volunteers narrate the history of Arizona’s oldest and largest botanical garden, they point out colorful plants and birds and lead a relaxed walk to observe seasonal changes – starting at 10:00 a.m. each day of March and April. Resident volunteer ‘park host’ guides live onsite, gaining insiders’ knowledge of what's new around the trails and gardens each week. In addition to a basic overview of Arboretum history tour groups hear about recent wildlife sightings, hotspots to look for colorful birds, and where to enjoy the most sweeping, panoramic views of the Queen Creek riparian area. Tours depart the visitor center breezeway at 10:00 am and are included with daily admission $12.50 (free with your AZ State Parks pass).
