Learn the edible and medicinal uses of native desert plants on a walk along our Curandero Trail on a leisurely walk guided by Desert plants enthusiast Dave Morris. Expect a few tasting samples, too; Jim usually shares samplers of agave syrup, mesquite flour, and prickly pear cactus fruit jelly with his guests -- while explaining ways that native plants such as prickly pear cacti, ratany, agaves, and jojoba have fed, healed, and clothed Sonoran desert peoples for more than one thousand years.

Please note: this guided tour explores the Curandero Trail, which has steep sections that are not suitable for visitors who use wheelchairs or walkers.
