(Phoenix, Arizona - October 25, 2013) - Santa Cruzers Tri Club/Anderson Racing Adventures, LLC will hold an Olympic Distance Triathlon at Patagonia Lake State Park on Saturday, November 2, 2013.
A True Olympic Distance event, sponsored by FINIS, the event will have a 1500-meter swim, 24.6-mile bike and 10K run. The event will start at Patagonia Lake State Park on the FINIS swim course. Then transition to a rigorous climb on the bike- all paved and road bike worthy. The 10K run is on the Sonoita Creek trailhead, mixed dirt and pavement, and also has some climbing. This will be a truly challenging course, low traffic, and very scenic. Aquathlon, Aquabike, Open Water Swim, and 10K run, and Relay Team are all available. The park entrance fee starts at $10 for vehicles with up to 4 adults. The camping fees are start at $17 for a non-electric or tent camping site and start at $25 for electric or RV sites.
