Veteran's Day Flag Retirement Ceremony Fort Verde State Historic Park on November 14

(Phoenix, Arizona - November 8, 2009) - Fort Verde State Historic Park invites you to a Veteran's Day flag retirement ceremony on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1pm.

Bring your flags to be retired at Fort Verde State historic Park as we pay tribute to the fallen heroes, those who have served and those who continue to serve. If you can't make it to the ceremony and have flags that need to be retired, drop them off at the park anytime before the event.

For more information call (928) 567-3275. Park is located at 125 E. Holloman Street in Camp Verde. Entry station is on the right. Park Entrance Fee is $3 per person for those aged 14 and older and $1 for those aged 7 to 13. There is no charge for children younger than 7. Arizona State Parks offers a free Annual Pass to disabled veterans living in Arizona for those qualified at 100% disability. Active military personnel will enjoy a reduced park entrance fee of 50% off.
