(Phoenix, Arizona - August 26, 2009) - Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) announces the winners of the 2009 APRA Conference and Trade Show photo contest.
People were asked to submit photos for the contest early in 2009. They submitted their photos in four different categories. One grand prize winner was awarded as well as winners in each category.
Arthur Juarez of Phoenix was the Grand Prize Winner. Phil Clark of Vail won in the categories of Favorite Park or Place and Favorite Recreational Activity. Jen Godbehere of Glendale won in the category of Favorite Multi-Generational Moment. Matt Dawson of Chandler won in the category of Favorite Way to Help Save the Planet.
The photo contest was held in conjunction with the 2009 Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) Conference held at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale from August 24-28, 2009.
The Grand Prize Winner won full admission to the APRA conference and two passes to Kartchner Caverns State Park. The winners in each category will receive gift certificates from conference sponsors.
