(Phoenix, Arizona - December 13, 2008) - Oscar Quezada and other talented ceramic artists from the village of Mata Ortiz, Mexico will display and sell their hand-made pottery Saturday, December 20, 2008 and Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park. They will demonstrate traditional wood-firings and showcase pottery finishing techniques that have been perfected through generations by Mata Ortiz artists.
The artistic creations will be available for purchase from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm both days. A portion of sales benefits the Arboretum.
Plants-of-the-Bible Guided Walk

Trees of the Arboretum Guided Tour
Sunday, December 21 from 1:30pm until 3:30pm
See the forested areas of the Arboretum and learn about the many different trees.
