(Phoenix, Arizona - November 19, 2008) - Each year home school students and their families are invited to gather and experience education programs at Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park. The next program will take place December 3, 2008, and then again January 30, 2009 from 8:00am until 5:00pm both days.
Participants on Wednesday, December 3 are offered the "Plants-of-the-Bible" tour beginning at 10:00am. On Friday, January 30 visitors can participate in the "Arizona Tour" through the gardens of the Arboretum.
Families are asked to make reservations no later than two weeks prior to each tour by calling 520-689-2723. Pre-payment of one dollar per person is required.
Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park is located three miles west of historic Superior on U.S. Highway 60.
