(Phoenix, Arizona - November 18, 2008) - The Lake Havasu "Christmas Boat Parade of Lights" comes to the lake on Friday, December 5, 2008 and Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Bring your family to camp at Lake Havasu State Park to view the Annual Parade of Light Boats or just bring your family to Windsor Beach for the parade scheduled for approximately 7 p.m. on both nights.
More than 50 boats festively decorated with lights and Christmas tunes will pass under the London Bridge Channel as the parade tours the lake. A great many viewing areas are accessible from Lake Havasu State Park including Windsor #4 area (but please no pets or glass). Lake Havasu State Park provides camping at a rate of $15 per vehicle per night, but no electric hook-ups are available at this time.
Gather the whole clan together for the night or stay for the weekend as you try to guess the winners of the Best of Show award, Mayoral Award, Boat Manufactures Perpetual Trophy and the Commodore's Award. Lake Havasu Yacht Club also awards $300 to 1st place winners in several categories including 1st Time Participants, Corporations, Service Clubs, Family/Individual, Boat Dealers and Youth Organizations. Monetary prizes are awarded to 2nd and 3rd place winners.

or call Lake Havasu State Park at (928) 855-2784. During the day regular park fees apply. Regular park fees are $10 per vehicle. Arizona State Park Annual Pass is available for $50 (some restrictions apply) and Premium Annual Pass is sold for $125.
Lake Havasu State Park is located at 699 London Bridge Road off Highway 95 & Industrial Boulevard. The day-use hours are from Sunrise to 10 p.m. and Checkout time for campers is 2 p.m. The Park Facilities include three boat launch ramps (two for conventional watercraft, one for PWC) and a Campground with 47 sites.
