2008 Historic Preservation Partnership Conference Rio Rico, Arizona June 12-14 Registration is Now Open

(Phoenix, Arizona - April 22, 2008) - The Arizona Preservation Foundation, Arizona State Historic Preservation Office, Arizona Main Street Program, and the City of Nogales invite you to join them at the 6th Annual Historic Preservation Partnership Conference. Registrations are now being accepted.

This year's conference, whose theme is "Preservation on the Line," is being held at the Esplendor Resort in Rio Rico, June 12-14, 2008. The goal of the conference is to bring together preservationists from around the state to exchange ideas and success stories, to share perspectives and solutions to preservation issues and to foster a sense of cooperation between the diverse Arizona preservation community.

One of the highlights of this year's conference will be a day-and-a-half long ADOBE WORKSHOP! Jim Garrison, the State Historic Preservation Officer and David Yubeta, Tumacacori National Historic Park, two of Arizona's adobe experts, will discuss the ins and outs of adobe, as well as a hands-on adobe experience at Tumacacori. Space for this exclusive event is limited!
