Feb 4. 2012: Grand Re-Opening

Grand Re-OpeningThanks to everyone who attended the Oracle State Park Re-Opening Celebration on Saturday, February 4. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors and we were touched by the show of community support for the park in attendance and donations. So many volunteers helped to make the opening a success — both in helping with the event and helping clean up the park in advance! Nearly 1000 visitors enjoyed picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, trail running, and taking part in ranch house tours, guided walks and hands-on educational activities. 218 people toured the Kannally Ranch House and nearly 100 people took part in the hands-on educational activities at each of the 5 booths. 31 people participated in the Guided Bird Walk.

Thank you to the Volunteers!
