Weather
Fall, winter and spring are an ideal time to hike the Mohave Sunset Trail to view wildlife. Winter in Lake Havasu has warm days and cool nights to enjoy a campfire. Winter rains are sporadic but gentle. Wildflowers can be spectacular in the park vicinity depending on rainfall. The park typically doesn't get flowers within park boundaries, but along the highway and lake there are great blooms during wet years.
Summers have hot days and warm nights. Lake Havasu State Park offers a great opportunity to cool off by the lake. During monsoon season (June – September), clouds build throughout the day. Strong afternoon thunderstorms are sporadic with heavy winds and rain.
