Campsite Hosts:
Needed April through September.

Volunteer Caretaker:
The primary responsibility of the Volunteer Caretaker is to monitor the park and park assets for problems, vandalism and/or break-ins. In addition, Volunteer Caretakers may be asked to assist with basic maintenance and on-going park issues. The Volunteer Caretaker may live on-site at the park, at no cost, during the term of their Housing Agreement.

Volunteer Horse Patrol:
Through the Arizona Site Steward program, local horsemen and women check back country archaeological sites. Since this is a fragile grassland area, horses have less impact than vehicles.

Site Stewards:
The Arizona Site Stewards Program is an organization of volunteers, sponsored by the public land managers of Arizona, whose members are selected, trained and certified by the State Historic Preservation Office and the Governor's Archaeology Advisory Commission. The chief objective of the Stewards Program is to report to the land managers destruction or vandalism of prehistoric and historic archaeological and paleontological sites in Arizona through site monitoring. Stewards are also active in public education and outreach activities. Site Stewards are actively monitoring Homolovi State Park. Learn more about Site Stewards
