June 12: Boy Scout Clean Up Day
On Sunday June 12, 2011, Boy Scouts Troop 7354 from Payson helped clean up the park. Troop Leader Wayne Kirby along with Scout Master Jeff Leonard coordinated the service project. The Scouts began their day with a flag raising ceremony and worked steadily on weed eating, tree trimming, and custodial duties at the park. Arizona State Park would like to thank them for their hard work!
