Weather
The warm, dry climate of northwestern Arizona makes Cattail Cove State Park a magnet for outdoor activity enthusiasts year-round. Temperatures in the winter months range from the 60s to high 70s with lows in the 40s. Summer temperatures have been known to reach 120 but generally range from 95–110 degrees.
The area has two major seasons, winter and summer. The summer monsoon season starts July and runs through September.
