Due to problems with automatic GPS driving directions the park recommends the following routes from select cities listed below. The park also cautions: Heading west on Old Linden Road from Central Avenue. Turn right onto Fool Hollow Lake Road BEFORE the sign: Do Not Turn Onto 22nd Avenue!

From Payson: 
•  You will be travelling on Highway 260. 
•  From the Show Low city limit sign it is (appx.) 1.3 miles to Old Linden Road. 
•  This will be the 1st traffic light you come to in Show Low. 
•  Turn Left onto Old Linden Road.
•  Go 6/10ths of a mile. (You will be travelling through a residential district) 
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your left.
•  Turn Left onto Fool Hollow Lake Road after this sign.

From Globe: 
•  You will be travelling on Highway 60.
•  At the intersection of Highway 60 and 260 you will come to a traffic light.
•  Turn left onto Highway 260 going towards Payson
•  In 2 miles you will come to the traffic light at Old Linden Road.
•  Turn right onto Old Linden Road.
•  Go 6/10ths of a mile. (You will be travelling through a residential district) 
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your left.
•  Turn left onto Fool Hollow Lake Road after this sign.

From Pinetop:
•  You will be travelling on 260 South (White Mountain Boulevard)
•  You will come to the intersection of 260 south and Deuce of Clubs (60 West) (This is the main street in town. You will be travelling through Show Low towards Globe at this time)
•  In 2 miles you will come to the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 260 West.
•  Turn right onto Highway 260 going towards Payson
•  In 2 miles you will come to the traffic light at Old Linden Road.
•  Turn left onto Old Linden Road.
•  Go 6/10ths of a mile. (You will be travelling through a residential district) 
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your left.
•  Turn Left onto Fool Hollow Lake Road after this sign.

From Holbrook:
•  You will be travelling on Highway 77
•  From the Show Low city limit sign it is 1 mile to the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 77 and Highway 60
•  Turn right onto Highway 60, (this is the Deuce of Clubs which is the main street in Show Low)
•  You will travel (appx) 2.5 miles through Show Low to the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 260.
•  Turn right onto Highway 260 going towards Payson
•  In 2 miles you will come to the traffic light at Old Linden Road.
•  Turn right onto Old Linden Road.
•  Go 6/10ths of a mile. (You will be travelling through a residential district) 
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your left.
•  Turn Left onto Fool Hollow Lake Road after this sign.

From Springerville:
•  You will be travelling on Highway 60.
•  From the Show Low city limit sign it is 1 mile to the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 77 and Highway 60
•  Turn right onto Highway 60, (This is the Deuce of Clubs which is the main street in Show Low)
•  You will travel (appx) 2.5 miles through Show Low to the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 260.
•  Turn right onto Highway 260 going towards Payson
•  In 2 miles you will come to the traffic light at Old Linden Road.
•  Turn right onto Old Linden Road.
•  Go 6/10ths of a mile. (You will be travelling through a residential district) 
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your left.
•  Turn Left onto Fool Hollow Lake Road after this sign.

Alternate route:
•  If you turn onto Old Linden Road at the Deuce of Clubs or from the Deuce of Clubs onto Central Avenue onto Old Linden Road you will travel (appx.) 2.5 miles through a residential and school district.
•  You will see the large blue & white Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area sign on your right.
•  Turn right onto Fool Hollow Lake Road before this sign.
