Boyce Thompson Arboretum Photo Gallery

16. Common Buckeye is not the most numerous butterfly you'll see at the Arboretum, but during spring, summer and fall months you can expect to see Pipevine Swallowtails (iridescent blue-black), Queens (rusty orange, black and white) and a variety of sulphur species (bright yellow). Butterfly walks are typically offered once-a-month from March through October. (Photo by Tammy Knight)
